A long heritage, a deep specialization

1950 Firm established

A Damascus legal practice serving clients across three generations — more than 76 years of legal practice.

199036 years Intellectual property practice began

Three and a half decades specializing in trademarks, industrial designs and patents.

Alazmeh Intellectual Property was founded in Damascus in 1950, and has served clients across three generations since. For thirty-six of those years — since 1990 — it has made intellectual property its deepest specialization.

The firm is led today by Mohammad Ammar Alazmeh, Managing Partner. Under his direction, Alazmeh pairs the standing of a long-established local practice with international standards of work: trademarks, industrial designs and patents, alongside business services and company formation for those entering the Syrian market. He brings decades of regional intellectual-property experience, including a long tenure leading the practice at one of the region's largest intellectual-property firms.

As trade normalizes and businesses return, domestic and international clients are moving in the same direction: securing their names, designs and inventions, and putting their business on sound legal footing, before others do. Our job is to make that clear, fast and correct.
